In June 2025, the European Accessibility Act (EAA) will be enforced in European Union member states.
This directive applies to eCommerce sites, including online stores, that have at least 10 employees and an annual turnover or balance sheet of at least 2 million euro.
These websites must comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) at level AA, with the then current version likely being version 2.2.
Companies located outside the EU but selling products or services within EU countries are also required to comply with these accessibility requirements.

An OG Image is what you see when you share a link on social media. It's the image preview of the website you are linking to and will appear when a link is pasted into many platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Slack.
You can set a specific OG image to appear by using SEO plugins such as Yoast or Rank Math.
Many sites will create a custom OG image for important pages, such as the homepage or landing pages which are heavily linked to.
This site is a showcase with some of the best and most carefully collected OG images and is a useful resource for inspiration.
