Monday 27 September, marked WooCommerce's tenth birthday.
WooCommerce 1.0 launched with nine extensions and six themes available for use, including ‘Wootique’ – a free offering that had been specifically developed for the WooCommerce launch.
In 2014, the night before the very first WooConf, the plugin celebrated passing 5 million downloads.
It was acquired by Automattic in 2015 in a deal rumored to be more than $20 million.

Finally this week, Airbnb has been testing some changes to how filters are displayed on their listings pages.
Although the methodology may not be directly applicable to an eCommerce store I think it's interesting to see big sites experiment in this fashion.
