This is a brilliant video from Oddit where they look at the menu and navigation elements of certain eCommerce stores and explain how they would improve them.
It's all about simplifying what is displayed to the customer with the primary focus on conversions.
Both Shaun and Taylor make some excellent suggestions throughout the video. If your store only has a couple of products, there is no need to display 'Home', 'Shop', 'About' or even a search in this space. Use it wisely to direct users straight to your product pages.
If you sell coffee, and have a lot of SKUs, why not introduce a more visible call to action such as 'Take a Quiz'? That way you can help surface the exact coffee for a particular customer's flavor profile.
There is lots to learn from in this video for anyone building eCommerce stores for clients.

Transparency with customers about additional fees is essential. Explaining why and how fees are applied maintains trust and satisfaction. Misunderstandings can harm relationships and potentially damage business reputation.
However, getting started can be challenging for WooCommerce store owners. Knowing the types of fees, when to add them, and how to convey them to customers can be complex.
Ine from Studio Wombat explains how and when to apply additional fees, as well as looking at which type of additional fee is most suited to the situation.

The accessibility guidelines propose their approach by comparing the perceived luminance of two colors. The result is measured in what is called contrast ratios.
The WCAG guidelines, while comprehensive, may make approaching color contrast seem daunting. That’s why in this article, Javier Cuello provides several examples and visuals to help you better understand how accessible color contrast works in UI design.
