Beginning September 14, 2019, PSD2 regulation will require Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) for many online payments made by European customers, to help reduce fraud.
SCA will change your checkout flow. A dynamic authentication will be triggered after a payment has been initiated.

A new site by Pottlepress has just been launched listing the most popular WordPress plugins by downloads per day. It uses the WordPress API to pull in this data and also displays the average rating of each.
Recently updated plugins will show inflated numbers until they settle down after a day or two. Nonetheless, there are some very interesting plugins in the list and I was surprised by some of the rankings. If you're wondering what everyone else is using it's worth checking this out.
Latest Shoptimizer update - 1.7.2 released
If you've been using our Shoptimizer WooCommerce theme, we squashed a bunch of minor bugs in version 1.7.2, released yesterday. Here is the changelog:
- Fix – Added to cart button display.
- Fix – Responsive layout on mobile for My Account page.
- Fix – Product grid now displays correctly when Elementor page template is selected.
- Fix – Grid of 6 columns display on Safari.
- Fix – Mobile filters sidebar was briefly visible before page loaded.
- Fix – Safari cart display bug for multiple shipping options.
- Tweak – Accessible alternative to hiding product title h1 on mobile.
