Hi there, hope you're having a great Friday!
This is Colm and Simon from CommerceGurus, with a handpicked weekly roundup of eCommerce articles.
In this article, we’ll start with a brief discussion on how SEO-friendly WooCommerce is out of the box. We’ll also bust some common WooCommerce SEO myths.
And finally, we’ll show you exactly how you can optimize your WooCommerce-powered online store for SEO.
We'll be using Rank Math throughout, an interesting and (relatively) new SEO plugin which has some features for WooCommerce which Yoast does not.

With so much time in the WordPress developer community focused on Gutenberg and blocks - a lot of other parts have gotten neglected over the years. One of these is the admin area, and it's great to see that someone has come up with a solution.
Admin 2020 is a skin for the dashboard, created by Mark Ashton, which makes WordPress look a lot fresher and cleaner. I really liked the changes to the Media library, hurrah for folders!
Sarah at WPTavern takes a closer look at it and you can see a demo to experience it for yourself.

Colm came across this super article about the dangers of front-end tracking. And it's not about getting too much data, it's about getting too little.
It shows that when you rely on A/B testing, it might not completely go as planned and even Google is fallible.

eCommerce in Europe is expected to be worth 717 billion euros at the end of 2020. That would mean an increase of 12.7 percent compared to the situation last year. The strongest growth is predicted to occur in Romania and Bulgaria.
It's just a reminder to all of us selling online that the global market for your store just keeps getting bigger year-on-year.

I've been building websites for a long time, even as far back as when tables were the de-facto way to layout a page.
I'm amazed at how easy it is to create complex layouts in 2020 with so little CSS.
Una Kravets from Google has a fantastic 20 minute video on creating modern layouts with just a couple of lines of CSS.
If you build websites this is well worth a watch!
