WordPress 6.5 offers new and improved ways to fine-tune and enhance your site-building experience.
You’ll find new ways to manage your site’s typography, more comprehensive revisions available in more places, and a collection of Site Editor updates paired with impressive performance gains to help you get things done smoother and faster.
Many of the new features (such as the Font Library tool) will for now only be available for FSE themes, but they are planned to be rolling into "classic" themes in the future once they are stable.
This update also includes 110+ performance updates. Loading is over two times faster than in 6.4, with input processing speed up to five times faster than the previous release.

Elementor 3.20 is out, and with it comes improved performance of your site’s frontend and backend.
In comparison to the last version (3.19), Flexbox Containers now produce 39% less code, and Grid Containers produce 85% less.
This release also improves the Time to First Byte (TTFB) score by 3-5%, and even more on heavier pages through optimized rendering of elements.
This version also enhances Elementor's Display Conditions even further with the OR Connector. You can turn any page into a dynamic visitor experience based on different conditions and rules.
For example, you can choose to display a marketing banner on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Set the “Day of the week” condition to “Is” and select the desired days for displaying the marketing banner.
