Hi there, hope you're having a great Friday!
This is Colm and Simon from CommerceGurus, with a handpicked weekly roundup of eCommerce articles.
Instead of spending months planning the perfect redesign, Rodolfo Melogli of Business Bloomer has started rebuilding his WooCommerce site live in production.
His view is simple - an imperfect site that's constantly improving is better than a redesign that never ships.
We're also delighted that Rodolfo has chosen Shoptimizer (built by us at CommerceGurus) as the new foundation for the site.
After more than a decade on Storefront, he cites Shoptimizer's performance, accessibility, WooCommerce-focused features, and tight integration with our CommerceKit conversions plugin as key reasons for making the switch.
If you've been putting off a redesign yourself, Rodolfo's refreshing approach might give you the push to just get started.

This fascinating essay from Little Plains, a New York Studio argues that creative work is shifting from producing traditional deliverables - websites, PDFs, brand guidelines, campaigns - to creating "atomic systems" that both humans and AI agents can use.
Instead of handing clients a static brand document, they're increasingly delivering structured folders of Markdown, HTML, CSS, JSON, YAML, and SVG files that encode a brand's positioning, design system, voice, and strategy.
These files can then be dropped into tools like Claude, Cursor, or Codex to generate landing pages, campaigns, and product experiences almost instantly.
The broader implication is that agencies, designers, and marketers may increasingly be paid for creating reusable systems and encoded knowledge rather than individual deliverables.
This is a thought-provoking essay and is well worth reading.

StoreClaw is a new AI-powered ecommerce platform that positions itself as an “AI growth engine” rather than another chatbot or copilot.
Instead of simply giving advice, it monitors store performance, identifies problems, recommends actions, and can carry out many of those actions on the merchant’s behalf after approval.
Think of it as an AI operations manager that spans SEO, content, analytics, inventory, social media, and multichannel selling.
The platform promises to generate social content, monitor store health, surface growth opportunities, improve visibility across both traditional and AI-powered search, and help merchants expand to additional sales channels from a single interface.

In this video, Alex Hormozi works with Luis, the owner of an online railing business, to uncover the biggest issues holding the company back.
The main challenge is an overreliance on Google Ads, which has driven up customer acquisition costs while conversion rates remain relatively low.
Throughout the video, Alex shares practical strategies to improve the sales process, increase customer trust and engagement, and shift more buyers toward higher-value custom orders.
What makes the video especially interesting is the follow-up a year later.
After implementing many of the recommendations, Luis reports significant improvements across the business - including stronger revenue growth and much better conversion performance.
It’s a good example of how refining positioning, sales flow, and customer experience can have a major impact even for an already successful eCommerce business.
