Multivendor stores are all the rage these days and it’s easy to see why. They provide tons of benefits to both businesses and consumers and are an excellent way for store owners to earn a commission.

Google have delayed their implementation of mobile-first indexing for all sites until March 2021.
Sarah at WPTavern noted that this is mostly to give websites with a separate mobile version additional time to rebuild according to Google's best practices.
An added benefit to this delay for WordPress users is that native image lazy loading will be added to core by then so sites will no longer need a separate plugin to abide by that particular guideline.

I discovered this useful gallery of SaaS (software as a service) landing pages today - they have a particular focus on copyrighting as well as design which I liked.
They also include a useful 'Blocks' section. In their words:
Each block lists the best practices to convert the most visitors to customers. There's also helpful articles and screenshots from the top landing pages.
The gallery was originally launched on Product Hunt in July last year but it has been continuously updated since which is great to see. It's a gallery which is well worth bookmarking.

I loved this article from Marc Andrew. He writes about 8 simple ways to improve UI design.
On each point he demonstrates it with a before and after screenshot and an explanation of why the change works and makes the design more usable.
You can also sign up for a free cheatsheet of UI and UX tips on his site. If you design websites, no matter your level, I think you'd still learn some valuable insights.

Finally this week, there's an interesting podcast from eCommerce Fuel featuring an interview with Web Smith.
He talks about dealing with burnout, how community is the future of eCommerce, why Nike is far superior to Reebok, and how he curates one of the top newsletters in the space.
