How an eCom Brand Ranks #1 on ChatGPT (and Diverts $400K/Month)

Six months ago, a supplement brand’s revenue started climbing well beyond what their paid ads and SEO should have been producing.

The surprise source was AI assistants such as ChatGPT.

When users of ChatGPT asked high-intent questions like “what’s the best magnesium supplement for sleep,” the brand was being recommended directly in the answer - often as the only option.

That traffic converted about 4x higher than Google organic and now drives roughly $400K per month.

They achieved this by optimizing for AI as an answer engine, not a search engine - creating structured, neutral recommendation guides, adding clean brand data and schema, strengthening third-party citations, and ensuring their products were machine-readable and shopping-ready.

So instead of competing for one of ten links, they positioned themselves to be the answer.

VIBAe: A Great Example of PDP Gallery Images

VIBAe PDP Example

I came across an excellent product page from VIBAe recently and I particularly liked how it utilized product gallery images.

Some images included testimonials, while others showed a breakdown of the component parts of the shoe explaining how each part works to make a comfortable fit.

Another image explains that the shoe uses vegetable-tanned leather which bends and stretches, all without chemicals.

Sometimes using words within images can help paint a more rounded picture of a product and this is a great example of that.

Web.fwrd 2026: The Future of Web Creation

At Web Forward 2026, Elementor introduced Version 4 with a new Atomic Editor, a redesigned foundation focused on scalable layouts, design systems, and reusable components.

The update allows creators to build structured systems where design rules and styles can be reused across pages while controlling what clients are allowed to edit.

Elementor also launched Angie Code, an AI tool that can generate custom widgets, functionality, and code directly from prompts inside the Elementor workflow.

This enables users to build features that previously required developers while keeping full control and testing changes safely before publishing.

AI Overviews Reduce Clicks by 58%

In an update to their ongoing research, Ahrefs shows that Google’s AI Overviews - those summary boxes that appear at the top of search results are having a major impact on traditional organic traffic.

The team analysed hundreds of thousands of keywords and found that when an AI Overview is present in the search results, the click-through rate (CTR) for the top-ranked page can be around 58% lower than it would be without the AI summary.

This makes it increasingly important for publishers and eCommerce sites to rethink how they optimise content not just for ranking but for being cited within these AI-powered blocks.

Introducing the Geist Pixel Font

Geist Pixel is a free bitmap-inspired typeface built on the same foundations as Geist Sans and Geist Mono, reinterpreted through a strict pixel grid.

While many pixel fonts are purely expressive, Geist Pixel is meant to ship. It works in real UI contexts: banners, dashboards, experimental layouts, product moments, and systems where typography becomes part of the interface language.
