Although the default WooCommerce checkout is reasonably well laid out I think more can be done to improve this crucial step for store owners. Because, really this is now the most important step of the process. You’ve done the hard work, encouraged a buyer to select a product, add it to the cart – now you need them to buy.
In this guide I explain how to go about it.
This is pretty amazing. It's a free site of 100k high-quality faces. Every image was generated by internal AI systems as it continually improves. You can use them in presentations, projects, mockups and websites.
If you need some faces to use on your site, try this resource. It's incredible to think where AI is going.
Barn2 have been busy lately releasing a number of interesting WooCommerce plugins. The latest is called WooCommerce Lead Time. It displays clear lead time information on the single product page and help customers decide whether to place an order.
It also can show when out of stock products will be available again - a commonly requested feature in eCommerce.
Take a look at WooCommerce Lead Time plugin - it's $59 for a personal site license.
It's great to see WooSesh happening again this year. It's an event for anyone building WooCommerce stores, with a great lineup of speakers guaranteed.
The event is designed for people creating WooCommerce stores without code and developers and agencies alike.
WooSesh is free to sign up and even if you're busy on the days of the event you can watch the recordings later.
Automattic, the parent company behind WordPress and WooCommerce has raised substantial funding, giving the company which helps powers over 30% of the web a valuation of $3 billion.
In 2016, its founder, Matt Mullenweg identified WooCommerce as a “multi-billion dollar opportunity”.
WooCommerce has also grown to more than 5 million active installs (from 1 million in 2015 at the time of acquisition).
